Account Executive

CraneMorley is an award winning training development firm located in Long Beach, CA that has a twenty year successful track record working with Fortune 500 clients.  We specialize in developing custom training and performance improvement solutions delivered in e-Learning, traditional print, video and related interactive performance tools.  Our work has recently won more than 25 national and international awards.

We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to play a key role in developing new accounts and grow relationships with existing clients.

Much of our business is with global automotive and powersports distributors headquartered in the US, so experience serving this vertical market would be a major plus, particularly with the Asian distributors located on the west coast.

Duties
  • Identify new business opportunities: qualify, prospect, create proposals and presentations with the support of CM’s writing, design and programming team
  • Support relationships with existing clients to ensure our current services meet their needs while expanding business relationships inside that company
  • Build on these existing relationships to develop referral business inside a tight knit community of industry professionals through CM’s “Automotive Roundtables,” “Lunch and Learns” and other social marketing activities
Knowledge and Skills Abilities Required
  • Strong listening and consulting skills
  • Proven track record with business to business sales
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of training and media development and production
  • Ability to communicate with a broad range of contacts and gain trust, including clients and subject matter experts
  • OEM and/or automotive/powersports dealership experience a major plus
  • 25% travel required
